Easter

We took about 70 pictures on Easter Sunday. Yes, we are crazy and completely infatuated with our munchkin. It's out of control... but in a good way. Maddie was her usual adorable, happy self for the holiday. Here are just a few of the pictures...
I was surprised that she actually found the eggs and put them in the basket. Though, we had to distract her to go to the next egg each time because she very quickly realized that she could pull the eggs apart and pull the quarters out.
She LOVED this toy.
Tuckered out with Daddy at the end of the night.
Cutie pie!

Jibber Jabber

Tons of Easter pictures to be shared when I get a few minutes, but wanted to let everyone know that Maddie had her first 2 words this weekend. And she said them basically at the same time: Mama and Dada
She said them on Saturday evening and we thought it was kind of a fluke... but then when I brought her into our bed for some snuggle time on Sunday morning, I told her to say hi to daddy and she said, "hia dada"
We were amazed and then asked who I was and she said, "mama". It's hard to describe the emotions of hearing your daughter call you by name but my heart was basically melting and I'm even more smitten with my little munchkin. She kept saying our names over and over basically all day. I'm so glad we were able to experience that moment together for the first time.
Later on Sunday, while we were at Grandma and Grandpa Chopper's house for Easter, she kept saying "nana" and we aren't sure if that's the word for Grandma or what it is. I'm sure there are many more words to come! Can't wait!!
